With the season for income tax filing coming up very soon, I am sending you this letter to help start the process of organizing your 2009 tax information.  A map to help you locate my office and access to an assortment of worksheets, to help you organize your information, are available on my Web Site.  To access the map, click this link http://www.rsrfinancial.com/contact.asp  and print the page.  To access the various worksheets, click on this link http://www.rsrfinancial.com/infodoc/default.asp.  These forms can be filled in “on-screen”, saved as a file, updated later and emailed to me as an attachment.  If you prefer, you can print these forms and bring them with you when you come in for your appointment.  This should streamline the process immensely. I suggest that you start with the “Standard Tax Worksheet” and select others as your particular circumstances may require.

As always, I look forward to hearing from you and the friends or associates you choose to refer.   My staff will be scheduling appointments, on the hour, Monday through Friday (10 AM - 4 PM) and Saturday (9 AM - 3 PM). When calling to make an appointment, use the phone number or email address shown above.  Be sure to leave a DAYTIME phone number on my voice-mail system, should we not be available when you call.  My staff will call you back to schedule your appointment and, if necessary, I will speak with you to answer any questions you may have. Remember, I typically do not start seeing people until February 1st!

As an alternative to a time-consuming meeting, you may find, as many of my customers have, that it is more convenient to simply scan & email, fax, drop off or mail in COPIES of your worksheets and required source documents.  After loading your information I will email a “Draft Copy” of your return, so we can review/discuss the fine points and finish up.  Let me stress that if you insist on mailing your items to us, you MUST use our physical address (shown above) and SEND US COPIES AND NOT ORIGINALS!  If you use our PO Box, we WILL NOT stand in line at the Post Office to sign for your package.  If you must use the mail, I would suggest that you use UPS or Fed Ex rather the US Postal Service.

One additional request that I would ask of you is that you provide me with your email address.  I am trying to use email as a way of communicating, as it is so much more efficient than using the mail.  I thank you in advance for your continued business and support.
