Programs
In an effort to help vendors get more equipment sales, we hope
the following information will assist them in knowing when it is appropriate
to enlist our services. We have no geographic limitations and
can service customers anywhere in the United States , and we are able
to arrange financing for commercial businesses, municipalities and
government agencies (see our "Government Financing" page).
Remember, while we provide funds for equipment from $5,000 to
$1,000,000 +, our core activity and most attractive money costs exist
between $10,000 and $500,000. We can approve transactions up to $ 75,000
(sometimes $100,000) without financial statement disclosure, and unlike
many other sources, we handle the entire transaction. We do the
credit research and the document signing, so a vendor's selling time
will not be interrupted.
Who Qualifies
If the prospective customer is a commercial business, they must
be a Proprietorship, Partnership or Corporation, and must have a business
checking account. The firm must have been in business at least
2 years under the current ownership. Special or restricted types
of businesses or larger dollar amount requests sometimes require longer
tenure. Startup firms are rated for risk with financing costs
being substantially higher.
A Government Agency / Municipality must have taxing authority,
i.e. cities, counties, state governments, utility districts and school
districts. Private,
non-profit (501-C) organizations do NOT qualify for tax qualified financing
programs as they are usually dependent on grants or aid for their revenues.
If a prospect meets these criteria, we have the
basis to continue. The next step would be to measure the credit
worthiness of the customer/prospect.
The Acid Credit Test
We need to know
is the following:
- Owner's Name
- Home Address
- Social Security #
- Company's Bank & Account Number
- For Government Financing, the name of the Municipality or Government
Agency
If the information is favorable, we will proceed on the basis
that an approval is likely. This approach will save valuable selling
time. All
too often we find salespeople spending a great deal of time talking
about interest rates with customers/prospects who cannot qualify for
loans. If ACID CREDIT TEST is utilized, this problem can be can
virtually eliminated. |
