Recent inquiries about mortgages and their related interest rates have caused me to write this piece. Interest rates are at very low thresholds at the moment and many of the things going on in the financial markets are keeping them soft and even falling in some instances. With the Federal Reserve buying long-term bonds, interest rates could be pushed downward in the near-term. These conditions have prompted many people to call and ask if they should refinance their homes. Naturally a given condition is NOT a signal that is good for everyone, but could be good for you if your circumstances meet certain criteria.
